Who we are

Alex Z Handy ("we", "us", "our") is a one-person residential handyman service operated by Alex Zubkov in Ohio, USA. You can reach us at alex@alexzhandy.com or by phone at (614) 964-9515.

What we collect

When you contact us about a job, schedule a visit, or receive service from us, we collect:

• Your name and phone number
• The service address where work is performed (so we can reach the job site)
• Photos of the work area and completed work, when shared with us by SMS or in person
• The text content of SMS messages you send us
• Payment-related information you provide directly to our payment processor (Square)

How we use it

We use the information you give us only to:

• Reply to your inquiries and arrange service visits
• Send job estimates, scheduling updates, arrival notices, and invoices
• Document the work performed (before/after photos, written notes)
• Process payment for completed work

What we do not do

• We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for marketing.
• We do not use your phone number for promotional or marketing campaigns.
• We do not share your information with any party except as required to deliver the service you requested.

Service providers we rely on

To deliver service we share the minimum information required with the following providers, each of which operates under its own privacy policy:

• Twilio — SMS delivery
• Square — invoicing and payment
• Cloudflare R2 — storage of job photos you share with us
• Google — automated parsing of receipts and estimate text
• ipwho.is — coarse city/region lookup based on the IP address your browser reveals when you visit alexzhandy.com, used only to highlight your closest service city on the homepage. No data from the lookup is stored on our servers. The request is skipped if your browser sends Do-Not-Track or Global-Privacy-Control signals.

Your rights

You can stop SMS messages from us at any time by replying STOP to any message we send you, or by emailing us. You can request a copy or deletion of the personal information we hold about you by emailing alex@alexzhandy.com.
